Half Marathon Training
A twenty-week plan that starts with run/walk intervals and finishes at 13.1 miles, with every session directed by voice so you never have to check the screen.
Twenty weeks, built on intervals
The plan opens with one minute of jogging between ninety-second walks, the same interval method used to get people from nothing to 5K, extended across a much longer runway. The ratio moves gradually enough that no single session feels like a leap, which is the point: half marathon training fails from overreaching far more often than from lack of effort.
- A 20 week plan building to the half marathon distance
- Voice prompts for every run and walk interval
- Plays over your own music from any music app
- Total, remaining and current interval timers
- Works outside or on a treadmill
- Personal record tracking and progress graphs
- Works offline
The phone stays in your pocket
Every interval is announced through your headphones over whatever you are listening to. Look ahead at the plan when you want to know what is coming, then put the phone away and run.
Where to start
If 5K is not comfortable yet, begin with Couch to 5K or 10K. Twenty weeks is a long commitment to make from a standing start, and the shorter plans make it far more likely you finish this one.
