Texas Method
Volume Monday, recovery Wednesday, intensity Friday. The app holds the weekly structure and moves your numbers when you hit them.
Made for after the novice phase
The Texas Method exists for lifters who can no longer add weight every session. It spreads one progression across a week (a hard volume day, a light recovery day, and a heavy single or triple on Friday) so you are only forced to beat yourself once per week rather than three times.
- The three-day weekly structure built in
- Volume day sets and percentages calculated for you
- Intensity day singles tracked against your previous best
- Weights advance automatically when you complete a week

The recovery day matters
Wednesday is the day most people ruin. It is deliberately light, and treating it as a third hard day is the usual reason the Friday intensity day stops moving.

Common questions
Is this for beginners?
No. If you are still adding weight to the bar every session, a linear novice program will progress faster. The Texas Method is what you move to when that stops working.
What if I miss the intensity day?
Repeat the week rather than skipping ahead. The progression assumes each intensity day was actually hit.
